Integrating MTML Into Your Systems

Integrating MTML support into your existing business systems varies in complexity depending upon the architecture of your systems, and whether or not your systems currently support the IMPA ETSF standard:

• If your company currently supports exchange of trading information using the IMPA ETSF standard, these messages can easily be translated into and out of MTML. See the section on migrating from IMPA ETSF.

• If your company does not currently support IMPA ETSF, your procurement process and systems architecture must be examined to determine the most effective way to interface with MTML. See the section on integrating directly to business systems.
